Proceeds to Benefit Marshall Kids Cancer Foundation
The 2026 Miles for Marshall 5K will benefit the Marshall Kids Cancer Foundation, a newly formed foundation dedicated to supporting pediatric cancer families right here at home. The foundation provides meaningful assistance and resources to families in Bond, Madison, Clinton, Fayette, and Montgomery counties in Illinois - walking shoulder to shoulder with them through their journey. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps ensure local families facing childhood cancer feel supported, seen, and never alone.

2025: A Community That Showed Up
The inaugural 2025 Miles for Marshall 5K exceeded every expectation, bringing together 232 runners, walkers, families, and supporters united by one shared purpose. What began as a vision quickly became a powerful community moment filled with encouragement, remembrance, and support for pediatric cancer families.
Real Impact
Thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, the 2025 race raised $24,500, with all proceeds donated to Friends of Kids with Cancer to support families impacted by childhood cancer. These funds helped provide direct, meaningful assistance—ensuring families facing the unimaginable knew they were not walking alone.
